Foothills Radio Group, LLC
When Al Bunch, former GM for WPTF, told us he wanted to start his own group, Curtis Media helped his dream become a reality as a partner in this three station group in Lenoir, NC.
The Group includes:
- WKVS-FM – 103.3 FM – Country
- WKGX-AM/FM – 1080 AM and 104.5 FM – Classic Hits
- WJRI-AM – 1340 AM and 100.5 FM – News/Talk
Formed in 2005, the Foothills group also includes the popular website “GoFoothills.com”.
Al currently manages our Triad group as well as overseeing our Boone profit center and his own group in Lenoir with the assistance of local General Managers and great teams of professional broadcasters.
Inner Banks Radio Group, LLC
Long-time friend and fellow broadcaster, Henry Hinton, came out of retirement to build his second group with the assistance of Curtis Media Group in 2007. He manages this successful four-station cluster in the Greenville/New Bern market with the assistance of his son and other team members.
The Group includes:
- WTIB – 103.7 FM – Talk
- WRHT – 96.3 FM – Country
- WRHD – 94.3 FM/97.7 FM – Sports Talk
- WNBU – 94.1 FM – Talk
