Curtis Media Group is seeking our next programming leader for WQDR.

Our amazing Vice President of Programming and Program Director of WQDR, Lisa McKay, passed away recently after a brief battle with cancer.

We are now accepting applications for the next programming superstar to lead WQDR.

WQDR has been recognized as the Country Music Association (CMA) large market station of the year three times: 2011, 2014 and 2017, as well as the Academy of Country Music (ACM) large market station of the year in 2009 and 2011. WQDR was also recognized as large market station of the year by the North Carolina Association of Broadcasters in 2014.

Requirements for the position include a minimum of three years of proven success as a Program Director in a PPM market. Country radio experience is a plus, but is not required.
